Training

DAS offers training for those working with foreign national prisoners and detainees.

DAS offers training with the aim of promoting awareness and understanding of the needs of Foreign National Prisoners (FNPs) and best practice in the delivery of services to this group.

Our training helps practitioners from both statutory and voluntary agencies to gain a better understanding of the needs of foreign national prisoners and detainees, and to develop effective ways of working with them.

Training for  Prison Staff

Whether you want up-to-date knowledge on changing practice and legislation, specialised training for your Foreign National Co-ordinators, training on how to best meet the requirements of PSI 52/2011, or development training for your staff on dealing with foreign national prisoners, DAS can work with you to ensure our training meets your needs.
