Networks
To help raise awareness of the issues affecting foreign national prisoners and immigration detainees, DAS contributes to a number of networks that focus on criminal justice and detention issues.
The networks we contribute to include:
Criminal Justice Alliance
The Criminal Justice Alliance is a coalition of more than 60 organisations involved in policy and practice across the criminal justice system. It campaigns for a fairer and more effective criminal justice system. You can find out more about the CJA here.
Detention Forum
The Detention Forum is a collective of over 30 NGOs involved with immigration detention issues that are working together to question the legitimacy of immigration detention. You can find out more about the Detention Forum here.
ARC Detention Group
The ARC Detention Group meets monthly in London with representatives from a wide range of NGOs, and works to monitor and improve the conditions in which immigration detainees are kept. You can find out more about the group here.
